Vaping in 2023 pt1.AIR,Salt Bae, Vuse

 I'm far from new to the vape world considering I got my first vaporizer around 2004. But after recently losing my Crown 5 I had to return to the shop for something new. I was shocked to find that the majority of stores had gone backwards when it came to vapes selling the flimsy sticks only good for vaping weed carts. The shelves normally used to house fancy mods were now full to the brim of endless amounts of disposables.  On a whim a grabbed a few and here's my thoughts. 

First let'S take a look at one made by a company that simply calls itself AIR. The first flavor I tried was Passion Fruit Orange Guava.

Now before I even talk about the flavor. I have to give major props to whoever designed this thing as well as whoever Drew these epic ape designs they feature. I only with it came with a sticker or something of the design.

The pull on this thing was heavenly. I typically complain that a vape doesn't feel like a cigarette, with this I'd say it was WAAAAAY more pleasant than any cigarette could be. It felt almost like I was eating the delicious vapor I was tasting.

The melody of fruit here was also amazing. The flavor that hits most is the passion fruit followed by the tart Guava and a subtle orange finish. Overall I would highly recommend this one.it should also be noted that this thing lasted almost 3 days and I was sharing it with my partner so that's quite awhile. Easy 8 out of 10

I had to grab another flavor after that so I went with 

Strawberry Peach Yogurt.

I was a bit hesitant on this one, I honestly wasn't sure how I felt about vaping yogurt..thankfully it wasn't quite what I thought. The Peach flavor was the king here, tasting peachy fucking keen (to state things scientifically) with a nice sharp strawberry and a creamy (but not overly yogurt) finish.

This was another great one flavorwise, the vapor wasn't quite as thick on this one though and I'd be curious how consistent these things are. This I'd give a 7 out of 10 but definitely still worth a try.

Sadly when I returned to the vape shop for more of these bad boys they were all out and not restocking. Otherwise I'd have reviewed the whole line with pleasure.

Next we take a look at Iced Cola by Salt Bae Drip Pro

I'm a cola fan so I was curious about this one. The design was interesting, made me feel like I was in a cheesy 80s movie about the year 1998 or something hahahaha. 

So did it taste like cola? Fuck yeah it did, in particular it tastes just like Faygo Cola... mentholated Faygo Cola.

I didnt hate this but it was kind of odd to be blatantly honest. Almost like sipping a pop while smoking a Kool but without the tobacco flavor. 

I loved the overall feel, pull and flavor density but I do wish I'd gotten a different flavor to compare to this one. Overall I'd give this one a 6 out of 10

Lastly I want to take a look at a brand that claims to be one of the oldest in the vape industry, it's not quite disposable but it's close enough, we are talking about the Vuse.

Similar to Juul but slightly bulkier and a hell of a lot sexier, the Vuse is a pod system, pull activated and optimized for style and function. I unfortunately live in an area that only has rich Tobacco or golden tobaco and at 18 bucks a pop for the two packs of pods plus 18.99 for the Vuse itself, this one wound up being the pricey one of the bunch

The pull on this one was phenomenal and really does do a great job mimicking the feeling of smoking however the flavors left A LOT to be desired golden tobaco was the better of the two reminding me alot of a casino black and mild but the Rich Tobacco tasted burnt and hurt my throat. With that said the smoke shop has been known to sell expired things so it's possible the pods were bad.

Overall I give the Vuse itself a 7 out of 10, Golden Tobaco a 6 out of 10 and Rich Tobacco a zero. I wish I could have rated this one better and hope to try out the other flavors ASAP. as it really is a nifty little device.
